Skincare Regimen

Tuesday, May 24, 2016

Hi guys! I wanted to share my current skincare regimen with you. These are all of the products I am currently using on my skin. I am always searching for products to help clear up my blemishes.  I am constantly switching up my regimen. To be honest, I am over wasting money on products that do not work for my skin but what can you do? It's a method of trial and error. The products displayed are working well for me so far. I will post my before and after results in a few months. Do you guys know of any products that work well for oily skin and acne scars?

Below are the steps I use:

Step 1 - Remove makeup
Step 2 - Cleanse to thoroughly remove all of the dirt and oil from your skin
Step 3 - Tone
Step 4 - Moisturize

Major key alert: You should frequently change your pillow case and keep your hands out of your face to maintain clear skin :)

Garnier Micellar Water
(This is the best makeup remover ever! It's like magic! Now you see me, now you don't! All of your makeup is gone in a couple wipes. It even removes waterproof mascara!)

Clarisonic Mia 2
(This is honestly the best investment ever. I am so glad I purchased this Clarisonic Mia 2! It removes all the dirt and oil from my skin. It's waterproof which is pretty awesome because I can use it in the shower.)

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
(I put a drop of Cetaphil onto my Clarisonic and let it cleanse away!)

4 oz Certified Organic Turmeric Soap by Vi-Tae
(I use this nightly)

St. Ives Even & Bright Scrub
(I exfoliate with this product twice a week  I noticed my spots lightening up within two weeks of use.)

 Neutrogena Oil-Free Triple Action Toner
(I use this product after cleansing my face)

PONDS Dry Skin Cream
(I only use a drop of the PONDS to moisturize because it is very oily)

  1. Thanks for sharing your skin care routine. I kinda want to buy a clarisonic too and would love to try that makeup remover. I'm having trouble with my waterproof eyeliner. xD

  12. That tumeric bar looks so interesting, I've never heard of anything like that before, I'll need to check it out! As for acne prone, oily skin I was breaking out REAL bad for the past 2 or so years and tried everything to figure out why. I changed my eating habits and switched to, what I thought, were better quality makeup brands. It turns out that the makeup I was using was the culprit, regardless if it was supposed to be better for the skin. After I stopped using them all together on my face (I still use those brands for eye or lip products) and switched to a truly all natural brand, sold at Whole Foods and available online, Mineral Fusion, my face has been clearing up dramatically! I've also been using another brand I discovered at WFs, Evanhealy. I highly suggest you check out their products, they have some specifically for our, oily skin types and are just wonderful! I hope this helped :) I hope you have a great day, beauty!

    1. Hi Jalisa,
Thank you so much; this is so helpful! I found the turmeric soap on Amazon. As for my skin, I have made the decision to also change my eating habits to see if that makes any difference in my skin. I will definitely try changing out my foundation. I never looked into all natural cosmetics besides lip and eye makeup. I will check Mineral Fusion out today. Thanks again! :D
